Velders & Novak is a consultancy that focusses on enforcement. We work for ministries, inspectorates and other governmental enforcement agencies, in the Netherlands and (far) abroad. Our assignments come from all kinds of regulators, from financial regulators to youth care, from environmental to labour inspectorates. We work on projects, strategic topics, risk-analyses and reforms, as trainer or as interim manager with regard to enforcement.
As former inspectors and managers within inspectorates ourselves we now train inspectors on how to be a good inspector. We have written several books, reports and articles about enforcement, and we give lectures all around the world.
We are part of the “Dutch Thinktank on Enforcement” and we are the publisher of the weekly Dutch newsletter on enforcement “Toezicht in het Nieuws” (>5000 professional subscribers).
We have discovered that enforcement is a universal and fascinating world. We constantly think and work on
how to improve enforcement.
